HUMAN AUTHORSHIP STATEMENT: HOW I WRITE
Human Authorship
- Every scene and final line in this book was written by me. I do not use AI to draft my story text.
My Method (Structure-First)
- I begin with intuition and research, then build premise, theme, and a full structural blueprint. I do all story-structure design without AI assistance.
No-AI Drafting Rule
- When drafting, I write scenes myself—without AI-generated prose.
What I Use AI For (Assistive Only)
- Research support (history, culture, geography, science, terminology)
- Proofing/cleanup (typos, grammar, consistency, formatting checks)
- Clarity and logic checks (questions, plausibility, continuity)
- Line-level alternatives only on passages I have already written (I choose and revise the final phrasing)
What I Do Not Use AI For
- Generating chapters, scenes, dialogue, narration, or first drafts
- Replacing my voice or decision-making as the author
- Copying or imitating any specific living author’s style
COVER DESIGN PROCESS
I sometimes use AI tools to help create cover elements. I generate components separately (for example, background, character, symbols) and then combine and finish the final cover myself (layout, typography, and final image preparation). When I use AI image generation, I use Adobe Firefly, which Adobe says is trained on licensed content (including Adobe Stock), openly licensed content, and public-domain content, and that Stock contributors are compensated for training use.
My Promise to Readers:
The story you’re reading is human-made—designed, written, and revised by me. AI tools are used only for research and limited editorial support on text I’ve written—never to generate the story itself.
